USE
OF OUR MESSAGE BOARD SYSTEM:
1.
What's Allowed:
Messages are for the enjoyment and education of all V6FBody Online
Members. Any posts that are off the topic of the specific board
should not be posted on the message boards. The following
exceptions are allowed in the NON-TECH Message Board ONLY; Racing
stories, related F-Body information, weather conditions for
racetracks, show events, F-Body meetings etc. Rule of thumb, if
you think it's questionable, it probably is.
Action for
misuse of Posting: Anyone
who posts a message of which the administrators of this site deem
un-productive for our membership, will be subject to the removal
of his/her messages from the system. Any subsequent posting of
un-productive messages will result in verbal / text warnings, or
possible revocation of his/her posting abilities on the messaging
system at the discretion of the site administrators.
Censoring:
We have filters in place to stop words which we feel would
disrespect V6FBody Online's membership. Words which have vulgar or
demeaning definitions are not allowed by V6FBody Online. If our
Censor catches a word that we have pre-determined, it will point
it out to you, and give you the opportunity to choose
another word to describe what you are saying. We
apologize in advance to people posting, that some compound words
which have no vulgar meaning, but may have vulgar meaning if read
separately, or words which have different meanings but its letters
are spelled in the same order of vulgar words will not be allowed.
Actions
for abuse of the Censors:
Any person who deliberately
tricks the censor by changing the way a word is spelled, by
spacing out the word, or by adding extended characters on the
keyboard to complete a word and get past the censor, will be
banned from posting on the system for (1) one week, and the
message will be removed from the system. Any subsequent postings
in violation will result in revocation of his/her posting
abilities on the messaging system.
Advertising for services or
sales: NO ONE is allowed to
advertise for services or sales, such as performance shops,
aftermarket shops, etc. without first obtaining written or other
certifiable means (e-mail) consent from the V6FBody Online.. This
messaging system is meant for the members to communicate with one
another, it is not an ad forum. We offer very affordable banner
and advertising plans accessible from our main webpage. Members
may use our online classified system on V6FBody Online's website
to advertise services or sales.
Action
for misuse of advertising posts:
Person(s) messages and all threads (replies) will be deleted from
the appropriate message board. Repeat offenders will be banned
from the entire domain without notice.
Spamming:
Any member or person
posting the same message in excessive amounts will be considered
spamming the system, no matter if the message in question is of a
legitimate nature.
Action
for misuse of Spamming: All
messages from the person in question will be removed from the
system, and the person in question will be banned from posting to
the system for a (1) one week period. If the same person repeats
his/her actions a second time, the administrators of V6FBody
Online will ban the person in question from posting permanently,
and seek damages and restitution against the person and/or his/her
ISP.
Slander Issues:
Any person who posts a message that degrades this website, any
member of V6FBody Online, or The F-Body Automobile will be
considered a direct threat as an intentional act towards the
destruction of V6FBody Online, and/or its membership.
Action
for misuse of Slander:
V6FBody Online will IMMEDIATELY ban the person in question from
the entire V6FBody Online website, and seek punitive damages
against the person in question and/or his/her ISP.
Spoofing:
Any person who spoofs or intentionally hides his/her correct
IP/DOMAIN NAME from appearing on the messages will be considered
attempting to violate international laws of computer security. We
place the IP address of each person's post in an attempt to stop
all of the above situations.
Action
for misuse of Spoofing: The
administrators of V6FBody Online will immediately ban the person
in question from the system, and contact C.E.R.T., as well as the
United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, Computer Crimes
Division, and any International agencies as necessary. We will
seek the prosecution of, and restitution of, any damages or
expenses which may occur from any such acts from the person in
question.

Final Note
The Administrators of
V6FBody Online may change, add or update any portion of these
rules and regulations at any time with or without notice to the
general public. Any changes in the Rules and Regulations will be
made available on this page. These rules are set in place to
protect and secure our membership, which we have worked hard to
build. Any violation of these rules will result in the actions
stated with each rule. These rules apply to all portions of this
website!
